COMMAND PERFORMANCE Venue and date is not certain: 1) some people say 11-11-70 (because of the show in Hamburg 3 days after had simillar Embryo) Grughalle, Essen, Gemany 2) some people say 12-12-70 (see the picture attached, it comes from a book about Pink Floyd live recordings, released in 1999 - they mention the equipment used and reactions of the audience) Village Blues Club, Roundhouse, Dagenham, Essex, England (the often considered date and venue - 06-02-71 Royal Albert Hall is almost certainly wrong) This is the same gig as the one released on "Pictures Of Pink Floyd" but: - it has less clicks between the tracks but the passings between some tracks are still not smooth. It is difficult to say where this problem comes from because it can be caused by burning audio CD from an image file instead from extracted tracks. - the source is not as close to master as "Pictures" are (sound is more hissy and goes consistently around VG/VG+ , whereas "Pictures" sounds EX except from the Blues which sounds like comming from cardboard box and sounds better here) - it includes announcement before AHM - it has one more song apart from CD version of "Pictures" - Green Is The Colour setlist: 1) Liebest Spacement Monitor+Embryo 2) Fat Old Sun 3) Green Is The Colour 4) Atom Hearth Mother 5) A Saucerful of Secrets 6) Blues 1) this one sounds worse than on "Pictures" 2) applause is cutted and Green Is The Colour starts (different source? but it sounds like it comes from the same the same gig) 3) "Pictures Of Pinkfloyd" doesnt include this one (nice version!) 4) same as the one on "Pictures Of Pink Floyd" but: - it has announcement - it has the cut at 7:02 (this point on "Pictures is at 5:50, announcement is not so long - to slow?), the approx 2.5 minute of Daves and Ricks singing is missing - the part where temporal speed problems occure on "Pictures" 5) it seems to be the same 6) sounds much better than on "Pictures" I think Pictures Of Pink Floyd sounds far best(but Blues) and it doesnt have cut in AHM. Only problem is that it doesnt include Green Is The Colour.
