When we are open ?
We are open every summer, generally from the start of July to
mid-August (it can vary ...). The exact date we open is known by the end of May, and the date
we close is announced
at
the start of September. Both dates are posted on main page on time.
Please do not call the number quoted above until we are open
If you would like to contact us before the hostel
opens, please contact our main office
and they will gladly handle all of your questions and
reservation-requests.
What we offer and for how much ?
We offer a dorm-style accommodation. It may sound a little bit scary, but see a few
letters from our guestbook. The dorm is separated
into several areas.
The price includes :
- breakfast
(bread, butter, jam, cheese, cornflakes, musli, milk, tea or coffee)
- linen
- showers and toilets
(separate for guys and girls)
- luggage room
- internet (not guarantied until a few days after we opedned
...)
You should also pay a 100
CZK deposit for the key for your locker. This deposit also
works as an assurance you either observe
the check out time (10am) or reserve your bed for
the next night.
Additional services (often very well accepted by our guests) are:
- 24-hour-reception service
(no curfew)
- 24-hour-bar service
(nonstop, very reasonable prices)
- safe at reception (free of charge)
- wake up calls on demand
- lockers
- board games
- a small space in the hostel fridge for your own food
The hostel is located in the nice surroundings of
Petrin park, near the centre of Prague (15 minute-walk or two stops by tram).
You can also find sport facilities (a playing- field for football,
handball and basketball and the volleyball-court) on the
campus where hostel is located. Although these
facilities are not owned by
the hostel they can be rented
out for approx 200 CZK per hour
(schedule permitting).
Parking
Cars
Unfortunately there is no parking area within the campus, easily because the whole place is
located in the park where there is no legal approach for cars. For more information read the

Motorbikes
Well, same as above, but if you don't mind taking a risk of a fine .... there is a
space for a few motorbikes behind the hostel
Bikes
You can easily park your bike in our
luggage room.
